Well - you won't believe the trouble I have been going through these past couple of days. lol. Now that I think about it, its kind of funny. But basically I have been in the hospital again, but this time they actually brought me out of the backwoods country area and into the capital. So now I officially know what's been going on with me. It turns out I have kidney stones, yeaaaaaaa. But I'm OK. It all started Saturdays evening after I ate a milkshake. Apparently milkshakes aren't good to eat if you have kidney stones, but I promised a member kid I would buy him one. So, why not me one too right. Well after that we went to an investigator's house and I wasn't feeling good at all. So I made my companion end it in the middle of the lesson. We walked down the street and I just started throwing my guts out. And I just lost all my strength. Well, kudos for the member kid because he was nice enough to run to the church and tell the president what was going on so he could come pick me up in his van. But in the mean time I was throwing up with all of the neighbors circling around saying how the white missionary was dying. Well the president came and they took me to the hospital. I lost all feelings of my lips and hands and pretty much went hysterical. That's when they pocked me with some needle to calm me down and take away the pain, because e it hurt really bad. But my branch here rocks. A member lady was holding my hand through out the whole thing. But let me tell you something - kidney stones are not fun!!! So they sent me home around 10 PM but then at 2 AM it came back and I went back to the hospital. From there the mission president had me sent to the capital, because the hospital where I'm at really isn't a hospital. It's really just a clinic. It was in the hospital in Santo Domingo that they found out that I had kidney stones. The other hospital was guessing colon infection. lol. But now it's Monday and I just got back to good old Barahona with some pain pills and something to help the rocks leave a little smoother. Basically I was told I am going to have to suck it up and be a man. lol. But luckily the biggest one is already out. And - yea that was my week.
Love Ya, Elder Woestman
