So this week was a good week. We went on an intercombio Tuesday, so I spent the whole day Tuesday with a Dominican missionary and I didn´t really understand half of what he was saying. lol. But hey, I did my best and I learned a lot none the less. We lost our water too at the beginning of the week. So we were out of electricity for 3 days and out of water for 2. Got to love the Dominican Republic. lol. So, hey mom, thanks a ton for the mosquito net, because without the fans working at night my companion was eaten alive - but I was perfectly fine Oh, and one thing that I always love is when I stick my tongue out at little kids and they do it back. That always makes me laugh. Of course it's cute and half of them have really bad teeth. lol.
So we have been working with quite a few people this week. We have three baptismal dates set up and one for this weekend. The one for this weekend is for a 17 yr old girl who's mom is a member so that's good. That means she will stay active. Her name is Laflaca. The names here are so different than the names in America. And we have been teaching this baseball player's wife and the duds name is Vladamir Guerrero. He plays for the Angels, whoever he is. In the middle of our lesson we were teaching her and her kid threw up all over the place while she is holding him. It was like some water gusher. I don't know how to describe it but I didn't know little kids could hold that much in their stomachs. lol. Sunday we had a conference that was broadcast from Jamaica. It was only for the Caribbean. But it was awesome. Pres. Eyring was there and Pres Bednar. There were some pretty sweet talks, but the funny thing was that we had to go to Boni to watch this conference which is the bigger city near us. And we fit the whole ward in one school bus. lol. There were kids sitting on kids sitting on adults. People standing in the aisle. I was sitting on a speaker for the radio in the back and it was hilariously packed and really uncomfortable. My companion got a picture of it. lol. But we still had 3 investigators go to church,so that was awesome. That's all i really have for this week though.
Love ya
